Good question! The answer to this highlights a very
unique feature of Perpetual Homeowners Insurance. When we
first write your policy, your deposit is based on a rate per
thousand that is determined by several different factors.
This rate is written into your policy and will not increase
for additional dwelling coverage for the life of that policy.
The cost to add coverage one, five, ten years from now will
be based on the rate as originally written. How's that for
a hedge against inflation?
We will review your coverages annually and recommend changes
as needed. We will not write the policy then forget you.
Did your insurance agent come to your house to make sure that
the amount of coverage that was being written was enough?
We feel that it’s important for a Homeowners Insurance
company to perform a proper evaluation of your property. How
else are you going to be sure you are properly protected?
One of our representatives will personally evaluate your home
in order to determine its current cost to rebuild. Using this
evaluation, we will be able to advise you of your needs –
both today and in the future. We will also explain all of
the different options available under a Homeowners Policy
so that you may decide the best program for you. We tailor
our policy to your needs. We do not have one policy that "fits
all."
